Update but can you help us just a little more

Hi, I hope you all have had a good summer. We keep pressing on with the restoration doing all the little bits no one sees.
Stanmer, sort of a development, the council have moved their stance. We sent in a registered request for Stanmer which we told they never received but after saying we will check who at the council signed for it suddenly it was found. Then the council out of the blue put the farm on the market and the closing date for tenders was this week. The brief was for any use but with restrictions and considering the footfall are not great numbers we think hardly anybody will put in a tender. We know of just one for another building. Therefore, we believe that the committee will now have to seriously talk to us as a growing number of the town's residents are becoming aware of the society and the publicity because of the BBC and social media platforms and now Tic Tok. 

For our next move we would like to ask you to send an email, if you live in Brighton,  to your councillor and to the head of the council, if you are not in the town just to the head of the council.  The email should short and straight forward something like;

I support the tram 53 request to be able to find a home in Stanmer Park and would ask you to do the same to save this historical artefact for future city generations.

That's it, the more emails they receive the stronger our chance of success.
