When I first downloaded Strinova, I was captivated by a hero who immediately resonated with me and stood out from the typical characters found in anime gacha games. That character was Mara—a mature, cynical, and unhinged member of the "Scissors" fraction. Her persona and characterization struck a deep chord with me, and her unique appearance only heightened my admiration. She became more than just a character to me; she became a vital and beloved part of my gaming experience.

However, my excitement turned to disappointment when news of changes to Mara’s character model was confirmed. These changes feel like an attempt to erase the mature, formidable Mara we know and love. Her transformation into a completely different character—a 16-year-old—rendering her almost unrecognizable to loyal fans, feels like a loss for the entire vibrant gaming community. The very essence that made Mara unique risks being overshadowed and forgotten.

We understand that business strategies and game development require evolution, but is this truly progress? There is immense value in preserving the individuality of characters who forge strong emotional bonds with players. Such a radical alteration to Mara’s appearance jeopardizes that connection and risks alienating the loyal fans—including those who financially support the game—who fell in love with her original incarnation.

In defense of Mara’s original design, we urge the developers at DreamSky to reconsider this decision. Please retain or restore Mara’s original adult model to preserve the spirit that made her so special. By listening to the community, Strinova can maintain the integrity of its characters and keep loyal players engaged.

Please sign this petition to support Mara’s return and advocate for respect toward Strinova’s beloved characters. Let’s show how important these characters are to us and the deep personal connection we feel with them. Bring back the original Mara!
