You probably heard it all over social media, on Wednesday, Vancouver, Abbotsford and Chilliwack's CKKS-FM dropped the Kiss Radio format and played the 1992 protest song Killing in the Name by Rage Against the Machine for over 24 hours on loop, making headlines around the world. After this stunt, a name you probably saw on the Music Express once came back to the station to launch a new alternative music format on the station. That's right, the Sonic Radio brand has returned to the airwaves in Vancouver. Funny enough, the picture I picked for the music express in our petition is one I took that has the Sonic brand all over the ride. Well, now that Sonic is back, its time to also push harder to get the music express back to Playland as well. Currently we have reached 33 supporters which is decent, but we are going to have to push for way more supporters if we even want the chance for the music express to come back. So I am calling on everyone to once again share the petition to all social media channels you have, that way we can get the petition getting momentum again and get the word to the PNE. Remember, everyone who signs also sends an automated email to the PNE so they will hear your voice.
