We, the people of South Africa, are tired of living in fear.

Every day, women and children are kidnapped, trafficked, raped and killed. They are taken from schools, streets, taxis, and their own homes. Their bodies are later found, and families are left broken while justice is slow and weak.

THE FACTS:
Women and children are the main targets of kidnapping syndicates in South Africa for ransom, human trafficking and ritual killings. This is a crisis.

WE DEMAND:
1. A national referendum on reinstating the death penalty
2. The death sentence for:
   - Kidnapping and murder of a woman or child
   - Human trafficking involving children
   - Rape and murder
   - Serial killing and contract killing

WHY THIS IS NEEDED:
This will act as a deterrent. Criminals are not afraid of prison. They must know that if you take the life of a woman or child, you will pay with your own life. The Constitution must protect the victims first.

We cannot continue to bury our daughters while killers eat and sleep in prison.

Enough is enough.
