Hey guys! I hope you've been doing well. For starters, I wanted to celebrate reaching 4,000 signatures! Jaeydon and I had no idea how big this would get, and it's so amazing and heart-warming to see how alive the love for reading is in our borough. Additionally, I wanted to let you guys know that the CEO of Barnes & Noble, James Daunt, emailed me this morning about the petition! He stated that the petition has been "very well received" over at B&N, and as talks and agreements for new stores in other boroughs are soon to be concluded, B&N will now set their sights on The Bronx! I'm so happy! Of course, nothing is set in stone, but this is a good sign of things to come. Thank you all so much for your support, because without all of us coming together, none of this would've been possible.
