At the Girls’ Highschool, we've faced a void that has left both our hearts and stomachs yearning for the return of a beloved vendor. For many students like myself, lunchtime was not just a break in the school day, but a moment to connect with a familiar face who took genuine interest in providing us with nourishing and reasonably priced meals. Unfortunately, the alternatives now available within our school tuckshops fall short in offering us nutritious meals at fair prices.

The current vendors in our school tuckshops do not provide us with options that truly fill us up. We often face overpriced items and are served cold, reheated food, which barely satisfies our hunger after long academic hours. In stark contrast, our previous vendor took pride in offering warm, delicious meals that catered to both our appetites and budgets, making her an essential part of the school community.

The decision to remove her was not only unjust but undemocratic. It took away the students’ choice and replaced it with subpar services that prioritize profit over student health and satisfaction. Numerous grievances have been voiced, but until now, they have been ignored.

It's crucial for us to take a stand and call for the reinstatement of our vendor. We urge the school authorities to listen to the voice of the students and rectify this oversight. Reinstate the vendor who supported our health, happiness, and education.
