As you know, Disneys 1946 movie Song of the South is heavily criticized for practicing racism (it’s not). So much so that just fairly recently as 2020, Iger decided to cave into politics and shutter Splash Mountain because it’s “problematic” only to turn in into Tianas Bayou Adventure where racism is rooted in the backstory. Talk about wrongfully criticized karma right? Fast forward to June of 2024, they were caught on tape saying stuff violating the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
