We, the fans of this amazing anime, respectfully ask for the continuation of the story with a second season.
The first season aired in 2017 and left many questions unanswered. Characters like Glenn Radars, Sistine, Re=L, and Celica still have unresolved stories. The anime gained a loyal fanbase around the world, and many of us have been waiting patiently for years.
The light novel series (24 volumes) has already concluded, meaning there is enough source material to produce one or even more seasons. The story continues with exciting developments, deeper character arcs, and powerful moments that deserve to be animated.
Fans across Reddit, YouTube, Discord, and anime communities have expressed their love and support. Even after years, new people discover this anime and fall in love with it. We believe the series has great potential — both creatively and commercially — if revived.
Please consider giving Akashic Records another chance. Even a special OVA, sequel movie, or a full second season would mean the world to us.
