With the lowest paying jobs in Canada being Gas Station Attenedant 14$ I don't know many full service stations any more but there is a few.

Cashier$14.00 per hour: I have done this job 8 hours on your feet, standing staionary, bad back, rude customer's job cut back's cause now people can self check out, I don't work in the store so I don't use self check out!

Dishwasher $14.00 Most of us started working as one of these in the restuarant buisness, not a fun job late nights, but a nessisary job for clean dishes!

Maid: Again a job I did in the okaknogan in 30 plus above, Cleaning room's full scale clean of rental Condo, Max amount of work Less amount of TIME! 

Delivery Drivers, Parts Delivery, Retail, all minumim wage jobs!

The retail and customer service area's they are tuff jobs no matter how yoy cut if, You have long hours, little pay, a time clock just itching for you to be a min late, Rude pushy people You have to smile at when Ya really want to tell them off cause WEll your stressed out TO! Could it be the extra shifts again or the fact they pay you penunts, for max hours! I too have been a delivery Driver Road Rage, People who have no idea how to use a signal, getting flipped off is the new WAVE! Do the speed limit but dam it get there quick!
I have also owned a small Buisness in WEM, yes the largest Mall at one time in Canada, also the most expensive, I owned a Scotter, and Wheelchair, Stroller Rental buisness. I worked right in front of the indoor ice rink, 6 Years I wore long sleves and turtlenecks all year round am cold sitting there! 

Rent was HIGH, why because they are greedy bastards, on top of RENT for my small place, I had to pay a Percentage Rent thats right give them a percent of my income! I got to work at 8am and I left at 10pm 6 days a week.During extened hours Xmas boxing day, black friday, I had to get there at 7am to find a parking spot, and left at maybe midnight if I was lucky. If I was not open during mall hours I was fined! If the MALL decided to do a upgrade I too was forced to pay for upgrades. I aslo had a LOTTO booth  649 high or back then Super 7 people lined up 10 deep to get tickets, My partner would work the rental side and I would be on the LOTTO machine all day! It was an ok buisness, I met some intresting people but it was long hours, and if I didn't make enough in the slow months I didn't get paid. 

WEM decided that I could take my scooter's and go, cause my lease was up and they didn't like us much, feeling was mutual!! So what am I going to do with 35 scooters in ETOWN, thought about white AVE, but I don't want to chase down people abusing my scooter's Yes it happens more than you think. No other Mall big enough to need the service. Had to take the ridiculos amount they overed me in a buy-out, cause they are going to make my service free. BS...Not only did they take my buisness from me, they never bothered to change the prices, free service my ass!

That is just my story, many other's have been ripped off by gov, greedy mall owners, greedy and shady Buisnesses, I am not saying all are bad, but I wil let you know when I find a honest one!

We are going to make 14$ an hour on avr. at 80 hours a week 1,120$ at 52 weeks 58,240 but Don't forget taxes! Total Tax 30.6% so now we Have 40,247$. I don't recall ever making that much a year but I have to go by what the gov pages tell me I am not allowed to make number's UP! But i will call  BS when I read it.Another Web site tells me Retail is about 34,503 per year, now that sounds about right cause again it's before taxes. 

My last up date on the price of Food Rent, shoes, day care, and all the little things that we need NOT want NEED, well the Number's it doesn't matter jow you try do NOT balance! It is always a negitive number, always! 

So maybe just maybe if we got our rent back under control, we would not be so Angry, or in bad health, we could afford to go to the movies, or pay all of the utilities in full, not a bit here and there,

We are not spending mindlessly on crap we don't need, I wish I could buy something I Just wanted! Not something I needed! I want a new Car mine is over 10 years old, I want designer clothes, I shop at value Village, and Walmart, where that chasier is standing for 8 hours a day. I want brand name food but I buy no name or on sale.I am tired of being told you need to budget! I do but the numbers don't lie! Costco is great for a family. I am a single senior on a pension, I can't eat bulk produce before it goes bad, Yes I try and go together with my daughter and her family, but man that total at the end of a shop is still really high! I stick to my list. My weakness potato chips, Yet I now have high blood pressure so they are out!

I can tell you the first of every month my RENT comes out, and my bank account is sad! I like the weekends cause no BILLS come out on the weekend, for 2 days it looks like I have money! But it is a magic disappering trick!

Jobs that are nessisary for us to get shit done are getting repalced by self service again I don't work there...and that was someone's JOB! The cashiers, the min wages who are essential to making Canda go are paid the lowest, and expected to pay RENTS THAT KEEP GOING UP! A building like mine was build in the 60's yet my rent is not in keeping with the age of the building!It's not a snazzy uptown condo, It's a 1brm hole in the wall, with more problems then I can count! A land lord who is so greedy nothing gets fixed EVER!

Enough of paying our PM, Mamber of Parliment and City Concuil huge salary's while we fight to pay our RENT! Time to take back control, tell the government we are fed UP! In closing I applied for a food Hamper because I have too, that was Last week, I am to call back on the 24th that is the soonest they can see if they have a hamper availble for me to EAT!
