We have some promising news to share: A federal judge has ordered that thousands of government workers, including the 1,000 park employees laid off in Feb., must be reinstated. That means our park rangers, law enforcement officers, and other vital parks staff should be returning to work. This is a huge step forward. 

Thanks to all 23,000 of you for standing with our Park Rangers. There’s no doubt that the momentum of this petition brought critical attention to the importance of our park employees, who steward and preserve our national parks. 

While this is a great step, some park employees report they’ve yet to be reinstated. Please continue to share this petition to keep the federal government in check and ensure our rangers get back to work, as ordered. 

Thank you again for standing with the park rangers and for the future of our national parks. Together, we’ve made an incredible impact. Let’s keep pushing until we have a definitive victory!
