Dear supporters 

Thank you for signing the petition and sharing locally. It has gained some attention at Clarion Housing, but we still don’t have a secure future for the garden centre site. 

This week the Head of Housing (North London) emailed me to say: 

“We have not yet terminated the lease, we are working on this so it is prepared and communicated in the required legal format. We have to give a set amount of notice which I do not have the details of right now so I cannot provide you with the date that it ceases. As I understand the area has been completely cleared. I must be upfront that Clarion are not open to sub-letting the area.”

And then sign posted me back to Canal & River Trust (CRT). 

So, no explanation of what has been going for the last year, or a date for when they will release the site back to CRT. 

Please keep sharing the petition - we need Clarion to act to secure the future of the garden centre site and end this limbo state.
