There is no doubt that Channel 10 and Free-to-air TV still has great programs like I'm a Celebrity and Masterchef, but with the rise of streaming media, it has really made linear TV lose way too much of it's revenue. This unfortunately led to the closure of MDV, the carrier for Channel 10 in Mildura, Victoria. 

There are still countless people in the Mildura region, especially the elderly, who are used to flicking through channels for their favourite programs. However, they are confined to using 10 Play, which may be quite daunting for the elderly to get around. And for us younger people, it would still be way too much of a hassle to open up a dedicated app rather than everything already being on the TV in a nice, clean list.

If we do nothing about his problem, it only gives the Australian TV industry more of a reason to start shutting down other stations around Australia because of falling revenue. Mildura was just the tip of the iceberg. An experiment. Let's save the regional TV industry so we as a country can have something to be proud of.
