We are almost at 500 signatures! (Also: we now have a poster!)

Hullo public transit supporters! 

So, I've been thinking to myself for a long time that a cause like this should have a poster made, so I have finally made THIS POSTER today in hopes that it can draw more attention and support for our cause. I will also be doing some work in the coming days and writing to our future electoral candidates so that public transit can hopefully be included as a priority in their electoral platforms. 

I recently visited Montreal to attend an exhibit and a Korean festival, and I did it (mostly) with public transit to the best of my abilities. Although I had to take a taxi to Alexandria, from there, I took VIA Rail, and on my return, I had the pleasure of taking the REM for the first time (woohoo!!!) to Anse-à-l'Orme, switched to a bus to get to Vaudreuil, and from there took a taxi back home to Hawkesbury. 

Public transit is a passion of mine, as I have always lived in cities with public transit and I also love trains. I sincerely believe public transit is important to the vitality of a city and region, and helps create a better, more connected egalitarian society. Public transit benefits us all!
