For those living in East Sussex it is easy to take the Marsh Link train service from Eastbourne through Bexhill, St.Leonard's, Hastings and Rye to join Eurostar at Ashford, that's if of course any trains were running from Ashford to the Continent. Ashford MP has promised to raise the issue with Eurostar if the petition reaches 20,000. So please persuade all you know to sign who haven't already done so. It is hoped to form a small committee to take this forward. Bushra Ahktar has helped a lot with this but we also need railway experts and those with public relations skills and experience to help make the return of Eurostar to Ashford a reality !
