Yet again, I contacted my city officials/councilors, and they are refusing to return any of my emails. These past 24 months I have sent them 30+ emails with no return or response in regard to my concerns on the streetlights here on our streets. Mark Baker from The Soft Lights Foundation has reached out to me to connect city officials to the Founder of Glow Project Yang Zhou. The issue isn't my ability to successfully get this campaign to reach city and state leaders, the issue is, they refuse to respond when they know that on a collective level, we all don't want our streets lit up with clinical soulless lights. The HPS, LPS and MH lights were honestly not the problem. So, while I have contacted city councilors here in Albuquerque New Mexico YET AGAIN about a week ago, they are refusing to get back. Still an empty inbox and total crickets. But because Yang Zhou and Mark Baker are both apart of Team Amber and this movement, they'll see this update and realize that I have tried repetitively to reach out to city officials without causing any CONFLICTING ISSUES with my Disability Status.
This is again why I assembled a team the DAY I STARTED this campaign. Because I knew city officials and state leaders would ignore my voice. I knew they would judge right away through my background that I am not use of their time nor' being able to be a part of the future. I just wanted to say this, just because I am Autistic, born below the poverty line, living on benefits and having a fragile nervous system, doesn't mean I am capable of being someone in the future. This is why I started this grassroots movement, why I made Team Amber, why I do resource exchanges. Because those things? It allows me to lead RESPONSIBLY without messing up the foundation. And given that these 2 Founders of both Companies that have forced city and state changes regarding streetlighting, I have to remind everyone here that they too are a part of this team. And they will see this update and realize that there is a reason why having a Team that will ACTUALLY be COMMITTED to the work is important. I have stated how many times I have contacted city and state leaders with absolutely ZERO response or even actionable cause. Just opposite in return. Such as the rows upon rows of white LED streetlights that our mayor decided to use because just like any politician, they will use their, "Try everything" tactics. Everything that's of opposite of what the people are asking for.
And so, this leads me to my important part of my update today. Dalkia's Contract ends by March 31st, 2027, with a 5-YEAR MAINTENANCE TAIL (Not FULL on REPLACENMENTS of white/warm white LED streetlights. Just to try and maintain them). But even that long window is too long because they are constantly being replaced, maintenance is the number 1 issue with these trashy LEDs and this (on top of many other economic strains) gets taken out of our wallets. YOUR WALLETS. With every update, every backing and every signature/voice speaks louder than the silence of city officials. They may want bold cheap flashy streetlights, but we just want the return of the simpler times and make things easier again. Not overcomplicate everything with more issues. And I will say even Politicians may attempt to use this tactic against me as well! But I already sealed this. Meaning that even down to the smallest atom upon unlimited atoms, they can't counter argue back. I have said this time and time again, CASE is CLOSED! If they can't take responsibility for their bad work, then someone else has to take their place and be the leader that everyone in 2026 wants! Someone who balances life over Economy while Ensuring Economic Values are worth more than just work, sleep, get up, and repeating this for the rest of life. This Life is worth more than what politicians keep saying. No matter how much noise, tactics or threats they use, they never will find true legacy. Because they ruined their legacy.
Let's keep growing, let's keep pressuring Albuquerque's Council and let's speak louder with fiery truth that won't get ignored. This tactic is above all else. Because we the people aren't their pawns or machines for their work. We are a powerful force that can move the mountain, stop the giant and be the light that burns beyond illusions! Thank you everyone who continues to support this campaign! I may not be made of measurements or status, but that doesn't mean I have a purpose! I have learned this myself so much these last 10 years! And many who continue to sign, support and building this Team, clearly shows what true leadership is. Not by materialistic measurements, but by showing that we are beyond the veil!
And do NOT FORGET, this campaign reaches on a National and Global Level! So, go to USA.GOV and find your state, county and city. Once you find it, you'll have a full free database filled with departments, councilors, legal advisors, and so MUCH MORE! I mean, WAY MUCH MORE! And for those outside the UNITED STATES, if your country has a site, search for your government's site, province/state and county levels (if you have a county level) and then look for your city. If your country does NOT have a site and its mail in only, starting a local petition, going to your City/Province Hall and Simply speaking up on the concerns of white and warm white LED streetlights and say, "I am speaking out in returning the Amber Streetlights". It is that simple. Because if our politicians will ignore our messages, then Team gatherings and developing Community, Tribe and Teams makes the movement unstoppable. Love you Team Amber.
