Petition updateBring Arianne Zucker back to Days of Lives. Workplace harassment and retaliation are wrongWhy are we so passionate about wanting Ari back?

It’s been said online that actresses come and go and the show goes on. People will keep watching because it’s been a part of their lives and shared memories a lot of time with their families. They won’t stop watching and they don’t understand others being negative and wanting to stop watching , all because of one person not being there anymore.

But… it’s NOT just Arianne. They’re not looking at it from the perspective of the actresses affected by a toxic workplace.
The effect that, that had in Arianne visiting HR in the first place and risking her career.
Her risk didn’t pay off for her but it did help to improve her workplace.
Sometimes the toughest decisions mean things ending and Arianne knew the risks involved but she was strong enough to do what she felt was the right thing.

This is why we support her. She risked everything because it wasn’t just about the show it was about the people who put the show on. The females that were giving their time and talent and were subjected to alleged harassment and toxic work conditions. The females that were driven away or let go.. The females that dreaded working a job that they loved because of the alleged actions of a black man of power.

A black man who had so much power that he said if you stayed or went, if you got story and if you didn’t.

No one should ever feel that way. It’s sheer dread, it’s a terrible feeling to work somewhere where you don’t feel respected, revered, or cared for.
It was obvious and still is that something was going on with the female cast on Days. All you need to do is look at the mostly intact male cast.. all the new female actressss that have essentially replaced our long time female actresses.
This is why we stand with Ari and for some of us Ari’s last air date of July 29th will be our unnatural end to DOOL.

It’s ok to keep watching after that too and supporting the show. Standing up for what you believe in is always right. It’s ok to have differing views because it’s real and everyone won’t always be in agreement.

All I ask is to see this situation from the perspective of the actresses that either left or lost their jobs. They worked so hard to bring their characters to life and be a part of a long running daytime drama that people consider part of, a huge chunk of their lives.

It was an honor and a privilege until it either became too hard for them to keep working or they lost their job due to raising concerns about their treatment or working conditions.

Think of how you would feel or handle yourself in a toxic workplace and you’re not even being recorded as part of your job.
