
Imagine going to HR to report workplace harassment and then being removed from your job, your pay is cut, and they won’t tell you when your coming back?
you have to get your lawyer involved to get back to work while the person you reported keeps working.
Then when your contact is set to expire you’re given a take it or leave it offer with no negotiating.
you’ve had your pay decreased, were removed from your job, and looked at differently all because you visited HR because several of your female cast mates were let go or left due to ongoing harassment that had been normalized over the years.. Just because people ignored it doesn’t mean it was o.k. They just didn’t want to do/say anything that might lead them to lose their job.
It shouldn’t be like this but we all know that the person who reports such things could face termination and retaliation and be seen as difficult and black balled.
This is what Arianne has faced and this is why we need all the support we can get. The more signatures the better for our cause.
We want this resolved and Ari back on set. Above all we want every female working on Days of our Lives to feel safe and valued.
