Dear Cootehills Community,

I am writing this letter today with a heart full of gratitude and excitement. I am thrilled to share that our collective persistence, dedication, and relentless efforts have finally paid off. Thanks to your endless support, our petition for a new Aldi store in our beloved town of Cootehill has been successful!

From the very beginning, this cause was much more than just about bringing a new store to our town. It was a testament to the spirit of our community, our ability to come together for a common cause, and our willingness to stand up for what we believe would benefit us all.

There were countless hours spent sending emails, collecting signatures, and maintaining our campaign's momentum. There were challenges, like the unfortunate cull of our very first page that gained so much attention , but we persevered. I even made it to the Independent newspaper, a milestone I will always remember. But let's be clear, none of this could have happened without your unwavering support.

This success is a testament to the heart of Cootehill. Our town may be small, but our community is mighty. We have shown that when we stick together, we can achieve anything. I am grateful for each and every one of you who stood by this cause, lent your voice, and contributed in your own unique way.

However, this is not the end. There are more challenges ahead, more causes to champion. And I am confident that if we all come together, as we did for this cause, we can conquer anything.

As we celebrate this victory, let's also remember the power of our unity and the strength of our community. Let's carry this spirit forward into our future endeavors and continue to make Cootehill  a better place for all of us.
