I am writing to express the community's strong support for the establishment of an Aldi supermarket in Cootehill, County Cavan.

As residents of Cootehill, we have seen firsthand the need for more food options. Currently, our town only has one supermarket that offers a limited range of choices. Because the closest Aldi is in cavan town, many community members must travel to  cavan or  other neighbouring towns to find high-quality, affordable groceries.

We would like to draw your attention to the petition we have started on Change.org to show widespread support for Aldi's arrival in Cootehill. To date, we have collected over 480 signatures from concerned residents demanding more convenient and affordable shopping options. Aldi is well known for offering quality products at competitive prices. Opening an Aldi store in Coote Hill will bring several benefits to our community. It will provide local residents with a wide range of food options, including fresh produce, organic products and special diets. This improves our overall quality of life and encourages healthier food choices. Additionally, Aldi's presence will contribute to revitalizing the local economy by creating employment opportunities for local residents. .

While we recognize the importance of careful planning, it is important to highlight the strong desire and excitement of the Cootehill community for an Aldi supermarket. We believe that allowing Aldi to open in our town perfectly meets our needs and aspirations.

We ask that you please consider our petition and allow Aldi to open a supermarket in Cootehill, County Cavan. We believe having an Aldi in our community will greatly benefit both people and local businesses.
