We are continuing to make progress behind the scenes in our attempts to bring a National Premier Soccer League team to the PA-MD-WV tri-state region. Our latest effort is a Soccer Skills Clinic for high school aged players that will take place on Thursday July 20 between 6:00 and 8:00pm at Bobcat Stadium on the campus of Frostburg State University.
The cost to attend the clinic is just $20, which reflects how this is intended to be a 'break-even' event. Registration for the clinic will close on Wednesday July 19 at 11:59pm. Register HERE today to avoid missing out!
The idea behind the clinic is to provide boys and girls soccer players from the region with expert coaching as well as an opportunity to meet college coaches from several institutions within the tri-state. The clinic is designed for players to work on and improve their game in a positive and fun environment.
The clinic will feature the following college coaches:
- Mo Pratt - Head Men's & Women's Soccer Coach, Allegany College of Maryland
- Daniel Hott - Interim Head Men's Soccer Coach, Potomac State College
- Andy Wright - Associate Head Men's Soccer Coach, West Virginia University
- Brandon Jackson - Head Women's Soccer Coach, Garrett College
- Mike Wystepek - Head Men's Soccer Coach, Penn State Fayette
The schedule for the clinic is as follows:
- Check-in / Coach Meet & Greet - from 5:45pm
- Technical Drills - 6:00 to 7:00pm
- Small-sided Games - 7:00 to 8:00pm
