Hello everyone, thanks to all of those who have supported the petition so far. Please continue to share it widely. People are noticing this.

I have just been on BBC Radio Sussex to talk about this, and it has made the local news coverage. It’s very exciting to see people taking an interest. People do know that this is happening, but it would be great to give people the information to find this page. 

I want to emphasise that this is not the most important campaign right now, however I think it is a small and practical step that will help deal with our colonial past. This will not end police brutality, institutional or systemic racism. However, providing a simple educational resource might help educate at least some people, and that has to be a good thing. It’s not much but it’s not nothing.

Encourage people to sign this petition, then sign fifty more. Write to local MPs asking that we stop selling tear gas to the US. Grab a mask and join the protest on the 13th!
