Every community deserves well-lit streets where people can feel safer when traveling at night.

Streetlights are an essential component of a community because they aid in providing clear vision walking, riding, or traveling to and from a destination. But some regions may have non-existent, faulty, or inadequate lighting that proves to be troublesome for residents of that area.

Through this petition, I will promote having better lighting or adequate streetlights for a community.

Where every individual should have the opportunity to access their community with ease and feel safe while doing so.

I encourage communities and government officials to ensure the maintenance of streetlights, replace inadequate lighting, and install new lighting for regions in need of it.

With this advocacy, I strive to stress that although some may think, getting adequate lighting for a community can be a complex task. A simple improvement of lighting can be a solution to making an area more accessible by foot, riding, or traveling during nighttime.

By advocating for this petition, we can help raise awareness for communities having inadequate lighting and urge them to bring more attention to this issue.

Let us help make our communities brighter, better, and more accessible for the people who live in them.
