My twitter-preaching to the Remain-choir has brought us all a little further along. And this has brought us an 'advance'; more of that in a mo. While there are a great many Remainers whose interest I've yet to pique, I will try and think of something for the London March on September 3rd. While this 'worthy' aim covers some of the 48%, there are likely to be more (the + of the 48%+) who have since thought better of 'Leave' and who did not vote. Although our 'reach' is sure to exceed our grasp, the numbers to be considered are huge; even to begin to effect the ambitions of our elected representatives. We do have time. This brings me to the 'advance' that our fortieth signatory has occasioned. To the petition page has been added a new button: Promote this petition, (sponsor an ad). I do not ask any of you, I will not ask any that come, to fork-out cash. I may decide to try it out, but the numbers don't quite add up: At a penny a pop (for £50 it's 1.5p/each) for a potential supporter, and considering the numbers we are seeking...well you get the idea. At base; what we are doing is worth doing - so, 'doing' is itself something. P.S. The DiEM25 web site, is still a possibility - something that may take this onto Facebook.
