A note of caution...

My fellow EU citizens. Away from this, the small 'p' politics of it all, legal arguments are beginning, and in with that the issue of threats and harassment has come up. As we all share some sense of optimism that what we are engaged in will have some impact, the more this grows the more susceptible 'I' may become to such 'impolite behaviour'. It is important that it be 'I' and not 'us'; it's simply less likely to get out of hand if there are many against one - the larger the target the greater the abuse, seems to be the way of it. I mention this particularly because I argue in these same terms in The Guardian and elsewhere online: I do this as 'Oudeis1'(and variations on that theme). Should any signatory to this petition come across me and wish to engage in whatever debate, it's probably for the best NOT to identify yourself as a signatory. I do not feel that I am in harms way - I simply need to assure you that I fully accept the role as 'sole-target'. Thanks again for 'doing', at a time when much needs to be done. Tom.
