KMOV-TV.  A 23-year-old man from St. Louis is facing an animal cruelty charge after allegedly killing a kitten on a Belleville MetroLink platform after being told he couldn’t board with the animal Friday.

Decalos Edwards Johnson-Foston showed up at the Belleville Station MetroLink with a kitten on his shoulders. When a security officer told him the animal wouldn’t be allowed on the train, Johnson-Foston allegedly threw the kitten to the ground, injuring it, then stomped on its head, killing it, and walked away.

Johnson-Foston was charged with aggravated cruelty to animals. He is currently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail on a $75,000 bond. (Anyone who was on the platform at the time of the incident is asked to contact St. Clair County Sheriff’s investigators at 618-825-5204).

This man is either mentally ill or just plain evil.  He will kill again!  Please help me petition the State's Attorney of St. Clair County, Illinois to prosecute this creep to the fullest extent of the law!  Until every state has an animal abuse registry, all offenders should serve maximum sentences!
