UPDATE:

For those who are under the presumption that fires are allowed in Brant County or that the Ontario Fire Ban was lifted: Brantford and the County of Brant has different laws. I was told this by Shane Caskanette (Brantford Fire Chief). The Brantford Fire Department states as per section 2.4.4.4 of the Ontario Fire Code, fires are banned unless it is an 'approved fire'. The Brantford Fire Department said they do not have any sort of 'approved fire' and thus all fires are banned.
