Allow Giant to Enter East Brandywine. Stop the Legal Battle!

The Issue

East Brandywine is a sprawling and vibrant community. However, since the loss of the Croppers/Stauffers supermarket in September 2015, our neighborhood has been without a community supermarket. Multiple entities have expressed interest in building on the adjacent land, just west of the Brandywine Village Shopping Center, but all efforts have been halted due to the petty business and legal practices of Brandywine Village Associates and L&R Partnership.

BVA and L&R are causing harm to the community it serves by unfairly burdening EB tax payers and raising redundant challenges to Carlino East Brandywine, L.P. (equitable owner of the land in question) with their frivolous opposition and legal maneuvering to block the construction of a Giant supermarket.

In his recent 35-page opinion, the Honorable Ronald Magle, Senior Judge of the Chester County Court of Common Pleas, concluded that the issues under appeal have been handled appropriately by the Township and/or BVA and L&R waived consideration of the issue.

Join us and sign this petition to let BVA and its legal team know that we are fed up with their trivial opposition and demand they stop prolonging this process. Our community needs and wants a grocery store where we can shop conveniently and contribute to the local economy.
