Presenting to Council!!

So I have been in talks with council member Kris Dejarlais & legislative services about how to go about presenting this to council, and we have decided that the best way forward would be for myself to appear as a delegate and present the proposal to ban plastic checkout bags in Brandon as well as this petition, so if you haven’t already done so please share! At 1091 people I am so happy to see that so many people care about this issue!! That being said, I have locked in a date to present as a delegate and that day is July 15th at the 7:00pm meeting in the Council Chamber. 2ndFloor, City Hall, 410 – 9th Street. If anyone would like to come to show support for our cause please do, I’m told the more support the better, please arrive 10-15 minutes ahead of time before the meeting starts!
