Accessible Washrooms at Brampton Library Four Corners Branch

The Issue

As an author, community organizer, and resident of Brampton who lives walking distance from the Four Corners branch of the Brampton Library, I have come to learn that the washrooms at this branch require patrons in wheelchairs and walkers to ask for help in order to enter and exit the washrooms. I believe this added barrier robs disabled residents of the dignity I readily enjoy and I would like to see changes in the structure of the door or doorway that allow wheelchair patrons to use the washroom freely.
