They Need Our Help

This photo is from January 21, 2018. I was slowly dropping water and the pigs would come over to drink. As you can see they are crammed together in the backs of these trucks. They are thirsty, hungry, tired, and scared. The treatment of pigs is hideous. Pigs are incredibly intelligent and complex. They are aware of the horror show they live in. Our numbers have grown to over 35,000. It’s apparent that we will need even more to get the results that we desire. While getting our numbers up, we are raising even more awareness. There are many animal rights groups that do amazing work. However, we all can play a role in doing what is right. We all have an opportunity to make people in our own sphere of influence aware of what goes on in factory farming. Through awareness we can all hopefully get the pigs the legal protection that they deserve.
