As suspected, private sector developers are leveraging the extra density proposed at 1631 Queen to upzone their lands and override the Beach Urban Design Guidelines. When this proposal began, Councillor Bradford claimed that it would not set a precedent for the rest of Queen Street. Lets hold him to his word!
