Council to have "Secret meeting" regarding future of Easthampstead Park

Bracknell Forest Council has given notice of its wish to hold a PRIVATE meeting in regards to a key decision relating to the future of Easthampstead Park, the summary of the meeting is as follows:
"To consider the options arising from the recent market testing exercise relating to Easthampstead Park Conference Centre
The Executive will be considering a report prepared by or on behalf of the Director of Environment, Culture & Communities.
A copy of the report and any other documents will be available for inspection at Easthampstead House, Town Square, Bracknell, RG12 1AQ."
Nearly 7,000 people have signed a petition calling for Easthampstead Park to be retained and protected by the council so any decision in relation to the future of this community asset is indisputably a matter of public interest.
The listed anticipated reasons for the meetings privacy are are follows:
- Information relating to any individual.
- Information which is likely to reveal the identity of an individual.
- Information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information)
- Information relating to any consultations or negotiations, or contemplated consultations or negotiations, in connection with any labour relations matter arising between the authority or a Minister of the Crown and employees of, or office holders under the authority.
- Information in respect of which a claim to legal professional privilege could be maintained in legal proceedings.
- Information which reveals that the authority proposes to give under any enactment a notice under or by virtue of which requirements are imposed on a person
- Information which reveals that the authority proposes to make an order or direction under any enactment.
- Information relating to any action taken or to be taken in connection with the prevention, investigation or prosecution of crime.
