Sign at Everton taken down

This petition was presented to Wangaratta council, who accepted it and asked the CEO to put our case to Vicroads. The answer that came back was that it was their policy to deal with the RAP (Registered Aboriginal Party) which was the Yorta Yorta. I passed this on to one of Uncle Freddy's descendants who was keen to deliver it to Auntie Geraldine, and left it there. Yesterday, was driving through Everton and suddenly noticed that the sign, which said 'Welcome to Yorta Yorta country' has been removed :) The ones on the highway are still there, but at least this one is gone.
