• Co-sponsored Big Cats and Public Safety Protection Act, prohibiting breeding or possessing Big Cat species.

• Introduced H.R. 4214, legislation to protect pets and wildlife from the deadly poisons used by the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Wildlife Services agency to kill wildlife species considered by ranchers and landowners to be nuisances.
• Introduced H.R. 1945, the Targeted Use of Sanctions for Killing Elephants and Rhinoceros (TUSKER) Act, legislation to save the world's last remaining African elephants and rhinoceros from poachers.
