Boycott Thanksgiving Day Shopping

The Issue

To: The CEOs of Retail Stores

As consumers we are protesting the opening of retail stores on Thanksgiving Day that are taking advantage of working class indviduals due to the poor US economy.

Retail workers should not be forced into working on Thanksgiving Day as a way to increase retail sales percentages for the year. It is becoming an unfair practice that is getting out of hand.  National holidays should be respected and observed for all those who reside in the United States of America.

By signing this petition We the People are indicating to you that we will not support this practice through  Boycotting the Opening of Retail Stores on Thanksgiving Day.

We the undersigned support the working class and their right to enjoy a National Holiday.
