Hello Everyone

I didn't watch the whole match but I tuned in for the penalties. The young man that this petition was motivated to support, did us proud today. I hope the press will be just as quick to praise, as they were to attack, weeks ago. A goal and a penalty, to lead England to triumph tonight, but it was very nerve-wracking to watch. It's awful, that when a black player takes a penalty for England now, we worry about the racism they'll face from fans and the media, if they miss the shot. It shouldn't be this way.

I hope to see lots of positive coverage in the next few days, and there probably will be, because the team won.

I read about Kane, not being happy with pundits being critical about the team as a whole, but I don't see many non-black players or sport commentators, having much to say about the racism that the black players deal with regularly. That's why it's important that we get this petition noticed and acted upon. With a new government ruling, the MP expected to respond, will have changed. I'll look into it and change the decision maker in due course.

Please keep sharing. Saka's performance tonight, only highlights that he is a great sportsman and deserves to be respected as a footballer and black man. I'm so pleased that he was able to prove to everyone, yet again, that he is a very valuable player and did not deserve to be vilified by the press last month. The pressure he must feel, is immense.

Please share, share, share, to prove that you care. Well done Saka. Good luck to England in the semi-finals.

Please sign my other petition of a personal nature. It would mean a lot to me.
