Recently, I learned of Doris - a beautiful 4 month old Tosa girl who's been rescued by Nami on Christmas day. Today, she's still at the shelter growing bigger by the day. It’s been a sad & confusing month for her (separating from her mom and siblings) so Nami tries to cheer her up with some home cooked chicken when she can – but not too much so she doesn’t get too big :) Because the possibility of an adoption in Korea of a dog like Doris is very slim to none, her only chance of life would be an adoption oversees. I was on the phone/email/computer for 8 hours straight yesterday. Fortunately, I found a foster home for her available immediately. This family previously adopted a dog from Korea and is fully aware of the extra tender love & care that Doris will need. This fundraiser will cover Doris' transport cost. Time is of essence since airlines charge by her weight/height/crate size. More so, getting her out of the cold, confined and not the best conditioned shelter deserves urgent attention. Details are as below breakdown for Doris: Crate size: 450 450(90 cm length X 60 width - 63 height by cm $1000 (including the crate, freight charges, quarintine fee at the airport) $200 Pick up from Busan to Incheon/Seoul Vet' bill: $100 Adoption Fee: $100 Total $1400 minimum Not Included: Money paid for Doris’ Rescue $200. Pick up at LAX! (Los Angeles International Airport) I’ll pick her up and deliver her to her foster parents in Hemet, California. ***Exceeded donation amount will be donated back to Korea for future rescues/expenses. ***Any and all expenses once she arrives in USA will be covered by me & foster parents.
