It seems every level of their government is clueless and everyone is pointing fingers at someone else… Millions of dogs are tortured and killed while their incompetent and indifferent government is looking out only for themselves…. What a shame to the humanity! Sharing from Nami Kim’s Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/savekoreandogs/posts/522528637897201 This happens when the city official in charge is bribed. This is the most discouraging when fighting the battle against the dog meat traders. Ganghwa Universe Dog Farm breeds 500 dogs, one of the major suppliers to the largest dog meat market in Seoul. I see more than half of them just "ripe"(the butchers say) for the dog meat soup this summer. I reported, filed an accusation about issuing a livestock farming license under "meat dog" last week after the visit. This is the reply from the relevant office. "Please go direct to the town office" when i go to town office they tell you to go to city office. So far, not a day off in my last two years full time engaged in this, I have met only one government official who was helpful. Most police men don't even know there is Animal Protection Act exist and the law is often useless. That is why I go under violation of environmental conservation law. But when bribery is involved nothing can happen. This is the worst government I have known on my 50 years so far. ► Call the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon's Office today: http://koreandogs.org/respond-to-unsg-ban-ki-moon/ ► Call the S.
