Petition updateBoycott PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea, A Dog Eating Nation![News] Shocking! Story behind the case of slaughter and consumption of an adopted cat. Trusted the adopter, but cats ended up as soup.

In Yongin, South Korea, a women adopted a cat and had the cat transported, along with another cat she kept for 7 years, to her parent’s home in the countryside where the cats were both killed and eaten. The adopter’s intention for sending the cats to her mother is clear from the fact that she sent the cats to her parents without any supplies that the cats would need in order to live (such as a cat litter box, etc). The women adopting the cat continues to show no sign of remorse for what happened to the cats.
Prior to adoption, the rescued cat had been injured, had survived several surgeries and completed physical rehabilitation under the care of a dedicated rescuer. The rescuer has been emotionally traumatized and is distraught as a result of what happened to this cat and has requested help from KOPC - Korean Organization for the Protection of Cats to hold the women accountable for the violation of the adoption agreement. Currently the KOPC is trying their best to make sure that justice is served for the terrible cruelty perpetrated and is conducting a petition drive in an effort to urge the Yongin Dongbu(means East) Police to conduct a thorough investigation of this case.
