Take The “Underhog” Pledge And Help Save Hoggy’s Take Away!

Hog’s Breath Café have taken offence to a small mum and dad take away shop located on the Central Coast of NSW.  Legal action against the family owned and operated business is pending and they need your support.

On 11th June, Hoggy’s must cease using their family name as their business name and remove signage of their Babe-like pig logo to name just a few of the conditions Hog’s Breath Café have imposed on them.  The alternative is to be served with injunction papers that will force this young family to stop trading.

Hoggy’s Take Away is operated by Sam and Sarah Hogg and sells toasted sandwiches, wraps, coffees and warm foods to the local workers in the industrial park.  Hoggy’s is open from 7am to 2pm, 5 days a week.  Hoggy’s use a Babe-like pig in their logo which sits under the large print words “Take Away”.

Hog’s Breath Café is an internationally operated business, privately owned by Australian Don Algie. Hog’s Breathe, which is also known under the colloquial names of ‘hogsters’ and other derivations of the word hog, specialise in slow cooked steak meals and curly fries.  Their target market is largely families looking for an affordable meal out with the kids and they operate from highly populated and publicly frequented areas like shopping centres, hospitality prescients and holiday destinations.  Hog’s Breath use a bright pink or black hog with sunglasses in their log along with the words “home of hogspitality”.

We are asking you to sign the Underhog Pledge to show your support for the Hogg family and to send a strong message to Hog’s Breathe Café’s owner that small businesses like Hoggy’s Take Away will not be bullied into submission by an international hog.

I pledge to not go to visit a Hog’s Breath Café until Sam and Sarah Hogg and their take away are guaranteed safe from legal action from Hog’s Breath Café.  I shall boycott all Hog’s Breathe Cafes and will spread the word to my family, friends and associates to do the same.

There's been a development in the David and Goliath battle between Hoggy's and Hog's Breath Cafe.
