Search results on Naver (the most popular search engine in Korea) resulted in 223 Health Food Centers (which commonly sell dog elixirs and cat elixirs also known as dog soju and cat soju); and 30 restaurants in and around the city of Jeonju alone. If every one of these ‘Health’ Food Centers and restaurants serve dog and cat ‘ingredients’ in one form or another, it is too awful to think how many dog/cat farms and slaughterhouses must be present in and around Jeonju to supply all of these outlets – and those that might appear under a different ‘search’.
