I have been introduced to one leader of color on the Board, though they have not contacted me directly to discuss this. Please share this petition widely. American Planning Association members have a direct impact on your life, on your access to opportunities and the availability of affordable housing. For generations their policies and programs have disenfranchised people of color. Their leadership and conferences have done little to include the voices and concerns of the poor and those of color in a meaningful way. We need to get their attention when they have ignored this issue for generations....please get your friends to support this petition as a fundamental step towards creating equitable communities. Lets get 100 signatures in February!!
