In the lead up to the 24th World Scout Jamboree, we are asking all our friends, including from the #WOSM, to please tell BSA President Jim Turley to kindly end the gender discrimination against young women in the Boy Scouts of America. President Turley can be emailed at laurieanndaly@gmail.com; michael.surbaugh@scouting.org; pr@scouting.org. Young women should not be banned from being awarded the Eagle Rank until October 2020, while young men are regularly awarded the same Eagle Rank immediately upon completion of the requirements. This is exactly what gender discrimination looks like in the United States and it has no place in Scouting, particularly by the host of the World Scout Jamboree. Thank you!
