Why: On the eve of the historic change to allow young women into Boy Scouts of America, local elected officials call on the Boy Scouts to honor the work of Sydney Ireland and women like her. Boy Scouts of America should restore Sydney’s merit badges and rightfully recognize her as an Eagle Scout who has completed all the necessary milestones prior to February 1st.
