Young women are on staff at Boy Scout camps throughout the country, teaching Merit Badges and other essential Scout skills.  It is time to end the discrimination and allow young women to join Troops and earn the Eagle Rank.  Jim Turley, as National Chair of the Boy Scouts and former Board Chair of the international women’s organization Catalyst Inc., please speak out against this gender discrimination and welcome young women into Scouting NOW.  Young women should have the opportunity to join Troops immediately so that they can earn rank and attend the 2019 World Scout Jamboree, taking place in the U.S. for the first time in over 50 years.
