With his background as a former CEO, leading both power consultant Ernst & Young and women’s change agent *Catalyst Inc., Boy Scout Chief Jim Turley is uniquely situated to drive positive change for young women at the new Scouts BSA. Please email Chief Turley and ask him to immediately have BSA honor its promise and end the discriminatory ban against young women joining Troops, so that they can earn the Eagle Rank and even attend the 2019 World Scout Jamboree in West Virginia, last held in the U.S. in the 1960s. These young women do not want any change to Scout curriculum responsible for forming so many male leaders, such as Steven Spielberg and Michael Bloomberg, but only ask for access to join and take advantage of the opportunities Scouting has to offer, just like any other Scout.
Finally, if we want to grow Scouting, we need to welcome all children and their families. Chief Turley, please publicly commit to end bullying and harassment, particularly by any adult leader.

*Catalyst Inc. drives change to advance women into leadership—because progress for women is progress for everyone. We ask the Catalyst leadership to work with Chief Turley to help drive immediate positive change in the new Scouts BSA!
