Contact ScoutingLetMeIn@gmail.com with questions or suggestions to promote inclusion in Scouting.
It took vocal support to end discriminatory policies and welcome boys and adults of all persuasions, genders and sexual orientations into all Boy Scout programs. We believe that the ideals and development of Scouting benefits all who participate. We seek your help in encouraging the Boy Scouts of America to grant each Troop the right to include and welcome young women into their ranks so they too can share in the education and leadership training for which BSA is world renowned! We are asking everyone to please contact Boy Scout President, AT&T CEO, Randall L. Stephenson (Randall.Stephenson@scouting.org; pr@scouting.org; myscouting@scouting.org). Please ask President Stephenson, in the below email or one of your own, to end all forms of discrimination in Scouting and permit young women to be treated and trained equally for a brighter and better tomorrow for themselves, the community, and the country.
Thank you,

Sample Letter to President Stephenson:

Dear AT&T and Boy Scout President Stephenson:
I am writing to you to respectfully request that we bring about a policy change in favor of inclusiveness by permitting young women to immediately and fully participate in all Boy Scout programs in those Troops that elect to welcome and enroll such leaders of tomorrow. This is far from a radical change as Scouting around the world has long since abandoned single sex, segregated education and leadership training. It is time that the BSA accepts the principals of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) by permitting young women to be equally included in those honorable ideals. The Boy Scouts are soon hosting the next International Jamboree - will co-ed Scouting groups from around the world be included? Will young women from the United States be permitted to attend as members of welcoming Troops? The time has come for the answer to be a resounding Yes!
The Boy Scouts has always stood for noble ideals. Yet, the organization has historically found itself having to take a stand against internal discrimination of many forms including race and sexual orientation. Unfortunately, with all the progress made in Scouting to increase diversity, young women are still sexually discriminated against and excluded from Scout Packs and Troops. There is no scientific basis to continue such systematic discrimination. No credible argument may be posed that young women are not equally qualified to join welcoming Packs and Troops, earn Merit Badges, and earn the Eagle Rank. In fact, the Scout Law calls for Scouts to be "Friendly, Courteous and Kind” yet the BSA fails to live up to that motto when it comes to including young women. All of our children deserve the powerful leadership training provided by the Boy Scouts. To deprive our nation of qualified female leaders due to unconscionable discrimination deprives the United States of some of our best and brightest leaders of tomorrow.
No doubt, there is solid support to include girls in all Scout programs.

A Change.org petition by ScoutingLetMeIn with nearly 6,500 supporters, many of them Eagle Scouts, calling for girls to be able to participate in all Scout Programs Scouting:https://www.change.org/p/the-boy-scouts-of-america-end-discrimination-against-young-women…. I ask you to please look at the meaningful comments supporting the Scout Petition, many of them from Eagle Scouts.
Just as you supported the change to inclusiveness by allowing homosexual boys and adults to benefit from Boy Scout programs and even recently welcomed 8-year-old Joe Maldonado and other transgender children into Scouting, the time has come to also welcome millions of young women into willing Packs and Troops where they may too may be trained in the tools and leadership skills for an equal and better tomorrow in all Scout programs.
We thank you for your anticipated inclusion of girls in the Boy Scouts.
Sincerely,
