*DEADLINE TO SIGN IS 2ND AUG*

At a Council meeting held on the 29th July, the Ashfield Independents voted through a last minute proposal to remove Hucknall West from Sherwood Constituency. Residents of Hucknall do not wish for Hucknall to be split over two constituencies. Hucknall West is an integral part of the Town and any attempt to divide up Hucknall should be resisted. 

Therefore, we, the undersigned, ask the Boundary Commission for England to reject the proposal put forward by Ashfield District Council to remove Hucknall West Ward from Sherwood Constituency and force it into Ashfield Constituency. 

This petition will be sent to the Boundary Commission on 2nd Aug in line with their consultation period deadline.
