On Tuesday night, City Council passed the sugary drink tax ordinance without any further exemptions and removed the exemption for CU, for which CU had rescinded their request. Mixers remain exempted, but a strong case was made. Speakers from Healthy Boulder Kids were succinct, clear and powerful. The city is all in.
