Dear Supporters, CU has decided to withdraw their request for a year-long exemption to the sugary drink tax! That leaves mixers as the only council approved exemption. Help us let them know how aberrant this exemption is and that it sends the wrong message about sugary drinks added to alcoholic beverages. Ask them to vote against the exemption for mixers and not to add any other exemptions, but to implement the tax initially as it was intended and voted upon.
